Dear Ellen,

So sorry to hear of your loss. Ward was a great guy. I have been trying to get your address to drop you a line. Please give my love and prayers to your children. Pat and I have been in Florida for 27 years now. I just left Massapqua Park today after a 2 weeks visit caring for Pat's Dad. Please write me.

Ellen, my sympathy goes to you. I had been a street marshall for 6 years, Ward welcomed me in the group with open arms. I have only nice and warm memories of him and later of you when I met you. He is going to be greatly missed.
