Mr. Hartsock, Langdon, Margabeth, Elagret (that part was for my dad..) and Sarah -

What a wonderful human being your mom was. As I flash through the memories of my childhood and countless hours spent being the 7th Hartsock (because, let's face it, the girl to boy ratio was much better at your house) and I think of your mom, these are the words that come to mind: patient, smiling, kind, patient,, compassionate, upbeat, calm, understanding and patient.

Today,I am grateful for the memories, and know she is very proud of you- her family.

Thanks for sharing your mom with me when we were kids. I'm sure you'll all do a great job of caring for each other in the days to come.
