S. Westmoreland Obituary



WESTMORELAND, S. Entered into eternal rest Monday, July 23, 2007, Sylvia Abatantonio Westmoreland, widow of Fred Wilson Westmoreland, Sr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, Friday, July 27, 2007 at eleven o'clock. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's Greenridge Road Chapel Friday from ten o'clock until the time of the service. Following the interment on Friday, family and friends may gather at the home of Carol and Gordon Frederickson, 568 Pointe Oaks Road, Legend Oaks, Summerville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 3870 Leeds Avenue, Suite 101, N. Charleston, SC 29405. Born June 5, 1929 in New York, New York, Mrs. Westmoreland was the daughter of Fortunata DeGrazio and Michele Abatantonio. Surviving Mrs. Westmoreland are two sons: Fred W. Westmoreland, Jr. and wife Judy of Summerville and Michael J. Westmoreland and wife Kim of Goose Creek; three daughters: Linda J. Osborne and husband Tim of Charleston, Carol Ann Frederickson and husband Gordon of Summerville and Sara L. Rhodus and husband Chip of Goose Creek; a sister: Mary Ann Todd of Goose Creek; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and her special loyal companion, Zack.
