Rufus Bunch Obituary

Rufus Bunch Harleyville, SC - Rufus Bunch, of 321 East Main Street, Harleyville, and widower of Patsy M. Bunch, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Oakbrook Health and Rehab. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Bethel United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Bob Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George. Rufus was born on August 9, 1932, a son of the late Charles and Lovie Risher Bunch. He was retired from Maintenance at Giant Cement Company, and a member of the Mallard Lake Fishing Club and Good Cheer Hunting Club. He was predeceased by a daughter, Pam Bunch Kizer, and siblings, Fletcher Bunch, Charlie Bunch, Bill Bunch, Melvin Bunch, Catherine B. Stack and Helen Bunch Davis. Surviving are: a son, Michael R. (Marilyn) Bunch, Sr.; grandchildren, Michael R. (Lourdes) Bunch, II, Joseph "Joey" C. Bunch, Travis M. Bunch, James E. "Eddie" (Kristin) Kizer, II and Daniel R. "Danny" (Meagan) Kizer, William P. (Stacey) Rickenbaker, Jr., Michael R. Rickenbaker, Randy T. Rickenbaker, Pamela H. (Gregory) McIntosh, William Preston (Stacey) Rickenbaker; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Bunch, Audrey Bunch, Parker Kizer, Palmer Kizer, Braeden Kizer, Mason Kizer, Tristan McIntosh, Farrah McIntosh, Mandy Reitz, William Preston Rickenbaker, III; a sister, Lillie Cantley; and a number of nieces and nephews.
