Roy Lee Worrell Jr. N. CHARLESTON - Roy Lee Worrell, Jr., 75, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Jenny Marable Worrell passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013. The relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Roy Lee Worrell, Jr.'s Life in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 3:00 pm. The family will greet relatives and friends from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. Mr. Worrell was born June 22, 1938 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Roy Lee Worrell, Sr. and the late Vashti Poston Worrell. A graduate of Bells High School, he was a US Navy veteran and retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as an Outside Marine Machinist. He was an avid fan of wrestling and NASCAR. Above all else, he was a dedicated husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jenny M. Worrell; daughter, Brenda Anne Cash and her husband, Scot; and son, Michael Lee Worrell all of North Charleston, SC. He was preceded in death by his brother, John William Worrell.
