Dear Sherri,
We were very sad to learn of Roy's illness, and then to learn of his passing. He was a good friend, and a great person to have known. Please know you and your entire family are in our thoughts. I think we all know that Roy went to be with the Lord, he truely was a man to be proud of.
We will miss him in our neighborhood, miss his ever ready smile and wave.

Sheri,
I love you and Roy so much. He was more than an uncle to me - he was my brother. I just want to tell you how proud our whole family is for the care you gave Roy. You were wonderful to him and that meant so much to us as a family. You will always be "our family" and please call on us.
Love,
Gale

Roy was my daughter's father-in-law.He would often call me and ask
me how we where doing and ask us to go out and eat with him and Sherry.I was always working and
trying to keep things going, I wish I
had known how serious things were,
I would made some changes in my
schedule .
I did enjoy going to the hospital and
spending some time alone with him,
and talking and praying about old times and his future home.
The last time I saw him I pushed him around in A wheelchair and he seemed like he was happy. Before I
left,we had prayer with the family
,and I left feeling good about the
experience.
I consider it a privelige to have known Roy and his family and enjoy
their company .

I worked with Roy at Coca-Cola and he stood out for many reasons. Always even tempered, kind, and respectful of others. I know he now rests comfortably in the kingdom of heaven.

One of the finest individuals I have had the pleasure of working with. May the family find peace in the knowledge that The Lord has taken him to a better place where there is no suffering, only joy!

We are so sorry to hear about Roy.He has been a friend for many many years. He always said that Joe gave him his first real job that was at West End dairy. We have missed seeing him on his route here in St George & Walterboro. May God be with you in your time of sorrow.
