Rose Marie Bufo SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Rose Marie Bufo, 99, of Springfield, NJ, and Mount Pleasant, SC passed away on February 26, 2022. Services will be held in NJ. Born and raised in Millburn, NJ, the daughter of Salvatore and Lucia (Tarullo) Solazzi, Rose graduated from Millburn High School in 1940. In her earlier years, she worked at Prudential Insurance prior to leaving to raise her family. Rose was a longtime parishioner of St. James Church and member of Life Lighters at St. Rose of Lima. She was also a member of Christ Our King Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC. A lifelong learner, Rose was constantly reading, searching out new authors and traveling to places that touched her personal history and heritage. She loved gardening and could make anything grow and spent a lifetime creating beautiful needlework. Rose was the beloved wife of 66 years to the late Michael Bufo. She was the loving mother of Patricia Bufo Murray and Rene Bufo Miles and her husband, James. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Bria Murray and Michael J. Miles and his wife, Chelsea Kahn and great-grandson, Ryatt Murray.
