Ronnie Leech Obituary

Ronnie Wade Leech, II. N. CHARLESTON - The man. The myth. The roofing legend. Men wanted to be him and women wanted to be with him. Ronnie Wade Leech, II., 33, passed away on June 30, 2016. Weary of reading obituaries noting someone's courageous battle with death, Ronnie would have wanted it known that he most likely died as a result of being stubborn, in some way or another. He enjoyed roofing, Heineken, guns, and cars until the day he died...not necessarily in that order. He hated flowers and hypocrites...not necessarily in that order. He attracted more women than a shoe sale at Macy's. And he was also great at pissing people off, grilling chicken and ribs, dodging the cops, making everyone feel appreciated, and hitting Coke bottles thirty yards out with his .22. And when it came to roofing, Ronnie was one of the best in the business. And he loved doing it. The funeral service for Ronnie was held at 12pm Noon on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Grace Brethren Church, 6501 Surratts Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735. Viewing and visitation was held before the service. When Ronnie took off, he left behind: his parents, Mr. Ronnie Leech, Jr. and Mrs. Penny Leech; his fiance;, Danielle Burton; sons, Dai'Ron and Nick Leech; his two brothers, Glenn C. Leech and Patrick Ryan Leech; his adopted little sister and sidekick, Anna Margaret Ethridge; cousins; nieces and nephews; many, many, maybe even way too many loving and supportive neighbors; and all of his childhood friends. Ronnie asks that you stop by his memorial service in Charleston (date to be announced) and re-tell some of the stories he can no longer share. But please be advised, Ronnie's memorial service may contain Adult material, so we respectfully ask that no children under the age of 16 attend. First of all I want to send my condolences to the family. I didn't know Ronnie. I happen to be looking for a obituary and came across his. I found his obituary very interesting. Ronnie also very interesting and full of life.....such a young man who's life was cut short....so I send to all that loved him to hold on to all your memories of Ronnie, good or bad ...and know he's doing Ronnie....because he loved his life and the life he lived. R.I.P.
