Ronald Bierling Obituary

Ronald William Bierling SUMMERVILLE - Ronald W. Bierling, beloved husband of Catherine (Kitty) Bierling left this earthly life on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Roper St. Francis Hospital Berkeley. He is survived by his daughter, Jenna Kelli Bierling and his granddaughter, Gracyn Olivia Blackwell; brothers-in-law, John, Edward and Louis Ley; and sister-in-law, Victoria Peterman, all of Johnstown, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was born August 24, 1945, to Frank W Bierling and June Unglaub Bierling in Upper Darby, PA. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years in Berlin, W. Germany, and was a graduate of Baptist College (now Charleston Southern University). Ron was an active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather to baby Gracyn who was his pride and joy. Ron was a true dog lover and an avid reader of his bible and historial fiction. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 206 Central Avenue, Summerville, with interment in St. Luke's Columbarium immediately following the service.
