I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend... I loved him and I will miss him dearly. We had only recently reconnected after years of having lost contact. I am blessed to have loved him during our years in the Marines together and even though our relationship changed we remained friends. I am comforted in the fact that I was able to tell him only weeks before this that I still loved him and will always be there for him. He was a special man who knew how to say "I love you" without saying a word... I have only loving memories of him...Rest in peace, Ron.

I've had the pleasure of being in the presence of Ron on just a few occasions. But those few occasions are treasured! Meeting him was like finding an old friend. He may have missed his calling, he should have been a commedian! He knows how to make everybody feel happy, silly, and down right fun! It's that charming smile that draws you in, and his warm heart that keeps you near. All in all, he knew how to celebrate life! He's celebrating now with our Savior, what a wonderful place! I'll see you there, Ron! Until then, say hey to Jesus!

As I think back to each conversation that I had with Ron, my memory escapes me on what exactly was said or which deal or project that we worked on at Blackbaud, but the one thing that will forever be impressed in my mind when I think of Ron is his smile. Rest in peace my friend and continue to smile upon all of us.
