Robin Rudd Obituary

RUDD, Robin Robin Lee Short Rudd, 50, wife of Jono Robert Rudd, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Friday, October 14, 2005, in Tennessee. Funeral services will be held at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday afternoon, October 19, 2005, at 1 o'clock. Burial will be in Dorchester Memory Gardens. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home this Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted. Mrs. Rudd was born on November 12, 1954, in Fort Worth, TX, a daughter of Odus J. Short and Esta Ruth McClary Short. She devoted her life to her husband of 37 years, her daughters, and her grandchildren. Anyone who knew her, loved her. She was outspoken and honest with a heart of gold. Survivors include her husband, Jono R. Rudd, of Moncks Corner; two daughters, Sherry L. Rudd, of Bonneau, and Kristi L. Rudd of Moncks Corner; four grandchildren, Robert M. Rudd, John T. Headden, Jr., Shain C. Rhodes, Whitney A. Rhodes; her father and step-mother, Odus J. and Dorothy Short of Seattle, WA; three brothers, Dickle and Kathy Short of Woodenville, WA, Buddy and Clara Short of Gramahan, WA, Jody and Michelle Short of Marysville, WA: in-laws, James and Maxine Rudd of Ridgeville, SC, Leon, Jr., and Mary Rudd of Givhans, Jack Lesley of Jedburg, and Jack and Patsy Murray of Lebanon; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; and her beloved dog, Rusty. She was preceded in death by her mother, Esta Ruth Short. She will forever be missed, forever be loved, and never be forgotten.
