STENSTROM, Robert

Robert Bob J. Stenstrom, 71, of Summerville, a 23 year retired inventory management specialist with the United States Air Force, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at a local hospital. Born March 12, 1934, in Sanford, Florida, he was the son of the late Newton Julius Stenstrom and Una Jane Gissendanner Stenstrom. Following his career in the United States Air Force, he was a life insurance agent for 20 years representing Liberty Life and Mutual Life. He was an avid stamp and coin collector and enjoyed doing pencil sketches. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene White Stenstrom and sister, Margaret Jane Stenstrom. Bob will be deeply missed by a son: Robert Mark Stenstrom and his wife, Tammie, of Goose Creek, SC; two daughters: Robin E. Workman and her husband, Edwin, of Goose Creek, SC and April L. Stenstrom of Columbia, SC; a sister: Ruby A. Harley of Sanford, FL; cousin: Edward (Dana) Arthur and his wife, Beth, of New Mexico; six grandchildren: Maxton Stenstrom, Maverick Stenstrom, Amy and her husband, Steven Ricker Jr., Beth Workman, Phillip Glynn and Katelyn Glynn; one great-grandson: Steven (Trey) Ricker, III. The family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 6:00PM Sunday, May 15, 2005 at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road, 46A, Sanford, FL 32746. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 10:00AM Monday, May 16, 2005. Interment with full military honors will follow at Oaklawn Park Cemetery, Sanford, FL.
