Robert Means Prioleau was as good a man as there ever was.
For years and years he and I were friends and colleagues. At Princeton in Cottage Club, on the tennis court every Saturday morning with Pete and Mike, at Exxon at the Bayway Refinery and in Houston.
Once Bob told me he was descended from a Venetian doge. No surprise: Bob was as admirable as the best of royal forbears. RIP dear friend. From Ed Mills

Loved learning more about your father. What an admirable person. The apple doesn´t fall far from the tree. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family this week in Charleston.

Pat, I hope you see this note. I saw the obituary in the Houston paper yesterday and was so sorry to see it. My love to you and your family.

Bob was a delight to work with during our years together at Enjay ( Exxon Chemical Company ). We were both very fortunate to be involved in the growth of our polymers business. We were young and the challenges were many but Bob always saw the brighter side of the picture.
A true gentleman and an example for all men on how to live one's life.
Surely, he has been embraced by God, may he rest in peace.
