I miss Bobby terribly. We lived on the same street during our high school years, and the nice boy grew into a wonderful man! He was one of only two friends from our class with whom I stayed in touch throughout the years including shortly before we lost him. He was always smiling and caring and kind and helpful and truly deserved all of his successes. Still love you and miss you my dear friend not just on Valentine's Day but always, Shera Lynn Hudson

When Bob's family moved onto the same street I lived on while in school, it was a blessing to those who knew him. We called him Bobby, and all of us were fortunate to call him our friend. He was one of the nicest boys in our class of '68 at North Charleston High School. I got to know Bob better as adults at reunion time, especially our 35th one that I put on myself with his help and my Mother's. My mother was Maxine Hudson who was a teacher at NCHS and who tracked down most of the alumni in our class, and Bob who came all the way from Texas helped me with name tags and decorations. It was fun reminiscing about our times as kids as we worked. We comminicated through Classmates earlier this year about the possibility of having a simple 55th reunion, and he reminded me if I did it to not schedule it during the tennis tournaments he was working. Unfortunately I was unable to set one up becuase of other responsibilities and missed my last chance to see Bob. I can't believe we have lost him - he was so active and vital and always smiling. What a shock. What a loss to the world of a wonderful man. My condolences to the family and close friends. Shera Lynn Hudson
