Robert Crews Obituary

Robert Benjamin Crews, Jr. SUMMERVILLE - Mr. Robert Benjamin Crews, affectionately known by "Robbie", age 54, of Summerville, entered into eternal rest Saturday evening, September 23, 2017, at the Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. Funeral services will be conducted 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, September 27, 2017, from Sand Hill Baptist Church, 15480 Pocotaligo Road, Varnville. Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service beginning at 1 o'clock that afternoon in the church sanctuary. Born August 8, 1963, in Walterboro, he was a son of Mrs. Doris Hadwin Duffey and the late Mr. Robert Benjamin Crews, Sr. He worked in landscaping, was a member and dearly loved Miles Road Baptist Church in Summerville. He was possessed a special love for CB Radios, Antique Cars, and Karaoke. He loved people and always had a bright smile on his face. He centered his life around his family and grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his mother, Doris and her husband John of Summerville are: a son, Allen Crews (Brittani) of Summerville, three daughters, Catherine Crews of Summerville, Cheyenne Riggs of Charleston, and Anna Bennett of Athens, Georgia; two sisters, Sandra Crews of Summerville and Katherine Crews of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Gabby, Nevaeh, Shane, and Izzy; and a nephew, Kevin Hazel (Drena) as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
