Robert Anderson Obituary
He was born, raised and educated in the Charleston County School District.
"O'Neil" served in the US Air Force from May 1956-May 1960. After being honorably discharged from the USAF he worked within the Dept of the Navy Polaris Missile Facility Atlantic in North Charleston, S.C.. He retired after 31 years in 1993.
"O'Neil" felt much love during his living years. His final wishes were to be cremated and he chose not to have a funeral service.
He was preceded in death by his father (Robert James Anderson, Sr.), his mother (Herline Lorick Anderson) and son (Michael J. Anderson). He is survived by his daughter, Veronica M. (Anderson) Pitts, son, Damon D. Simmons, Sr., a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and loved ones.
