I can't believe it's been a year already. I still think about you all the time. I'll always cherish all the summers we spent together on Isle Of Palms watching Sleepy Hollow and Napoleon Dynamite on repeat. I'll always hold the memories of the all the Autumn and Winter days spent on the beach. My heart is still broken. I miss you so much. 30 years of friendship and having you in my life doesn't seem like enough time. I'll never forget our four years at Wando High. We ate lunch together everyday in the woodshop classroom in J pod for 4 years. I remember the last time I saw you in person. I had just started a new job in the Walmart deli. I don't remember why you were there, but the instant I saw you I bolted out from behind the counter and jumped on you at full speed to hug you. You just laughed and gave me the biggest and longest Wolverine hug. You laughed so hard. We hadn't seen each other in 15 years but when you hugged me it felt like no time had passed. I'll always miss you. You were always my protector. I still can't believe you've been gone for a year already. It's still hard for me to live in a world you're not in. It's weird not having you in my life anymore. You were my best friend for 30 years. You still are my best friend and always will be. Death doesn't change that. You will always be in my heart.

I've known Bobby since he was in elementary school. Spent lots of time on the Isle of Palms on the beach with his Mom, Jenny, and all of our kids. I am heartbroken for the family.
