Miriam - Dale and I were not only shocked to hear of Rick's death but immediately sadden and a loss for words. Then as in unison we both thought of you. We are aware of your deep faith and being a long-time servant and a sincere bible student. It's at this time of, "unforseen occurences" one can appreciate how life can be so fragile.
Rick was a friend that could be counted on whenever the need arose. These past years have not gone by that you both have not crossed our minds. Please be assured of our thoughts and prayers in your behave at this time. Rick has proven faithful to the end, now it's our time to continue to do so. Then we can welcome him back to the earth-wide paradise.

Words cannot express what I am feeling right now. Rick was a dear friend, closer than a brother, to myself and my husband. We loved him so much. We have a huge empty space in our hearts with his loss. There is, indeed, the resurrection to look forward to, when we will see our friend again -- but we are impatient, we want him with us right now! We can't even begin to imagine what our dear friend Miriam is experiencing right now. Since our pain is so great, her's must be magnified a thousandfold. It hurts us to be so far away from her in this time of her oh so great of a loss. We love you Miriam. You are more than a friend. You are our sister. Our thoughts are with you. Our hearts are with you. Our prayers are with you. --Scot and Eleanor
