Rhaniyah Kaye Meadows Summerville - Rhaniyah Kaye "Jelly" Meadows, age 14, of Summerville, passed away in the early hours, on January 24, 2022 at Summerville Medical Center after a valorous battle with Life-threating asthma. Rhaniyah was born on June 21, 2007, daughter of Jacinda Renee Freeman of Summerville and the late Melvin Meadows. Rhaniyah attended Stratford High School, and enjoyed Art class and Band. She loved dancing, singing, skating, shopping, playing games on her tablet, playing basketball, going to her Nana's, swimming, spending time with her sisters and cousins, helping Mommy cook, and talking on the phone with her sweet boyfriend, Arkeem Salaam, whom she met on snapchat and instantly became inseparable. Rhaniyah had a good character. She was caring, had a great-personality, and was definitely unique. Rhaniyah was someone who was always there to support the important people in her life and was very passionate and understanding. She showed up for friends and family and was always there for anybody in need. She means the world to us and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, boyfriend and especially by her mother and twin. Rhaniyah was a beloved daughter, twin, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. Rhaniyah has left behind her loving mother-Jacinda R. Freeman and step-father, Kenneth "Shaun" Laramore, her beautiful twin sister, Shaniyah "Sissy" Meadows, a precious younger sister, Dakotah "Kotah" Laramore, a step-brother, Elyas Laramore, Grandparents: her caring "Nana", Cindy Lantrip and her sweet "Papa Joe", Joseph Votta, her Grandma, Endora Dunlap, and he r Grandfathers,Tyrone Smith and Mike Dunlap; her Great-grandmothers, Evangeline Tyler, Joanne Altman and Marguerite Overman; Great-Grandfather, late Ronnie Freeman, Sr, Great- Great-Grandfathers, late Odell Jordan and the late Ernest Freeman. Aunts and Uncles: Ronnie Freeman, Jr., Brandin Gaskins, Brianna Gaskins, Kayeleigh Helms and Chanelle "Nelle" Perry, Rayana and Justin McKnight, Marguerite Meadows, and Glonzo "Chuck" Leggett. A generous Boyfriend, Arkeem "Kem Bean" Salaam. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 12 o'clock at World Harvest Community Church, 3441 W. Montague Ave., North Charleston, SC 29418. Burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Flowers will be accepted.
