Raymond Lee Nesmith CHARLESTON - Mr. Raymond Lee Nesmith, 69, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Bernice S. Nesmith, entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 8, 2024. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Greater Trinity A.M.E. Church, 677 Meeting St., Charleston, SC 29403. He will be laid to rest in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3715 Azalea Dr., North Charleston, SC 29405. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the ILA Hall Local 1422, 1142 Morrison Dr., Charleston, SC 29403. Mr. Nesmith was preceded in death by his parents, William B. Nesmith and Lucy Cooper Nesmith. He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted wife of 45 years, Bernice Nesmith; his children, Cedric Nesmith, and Kimberly Y. Nesmith-Huger (Jason); a half-brother, Charles Miller; a sister, L. Jean Jefferson, a brother, William Bernard Nesmith (Erine); his grandchildren: Cedric Nesmith, Te'von Nesmith, Kennedy Nesmith, William Nesmith, and Kylei Nesmith; his niece, Stacey Jefferson; and nephews: Corey B.
