Ray Hyndman Obituary

Ray Hyndman ANDERSON, SC` - Ray Earl Hyndman, 92, formerly of Charleston, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Richard M. Campbell Nursing Home in Anderson, SC. Ray was the son of the late Kenneth Chandler and the late Marie Chandler. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Hyndman; and daughter, Karen Marie Hyndman. He is survived by brother, Keith Chandler (Joanna); sons, Gary Hyndman (Susan Gordon), Kenneth Hyndman, and Mark Hyndman (Michele). He is also survived by grandchildren, Jonathan Hyndman, Samantha Hollis (Charles), Jacob McTaggart, Tyler McTaggart, Amanda White (Joshua), and Justin Hyndman (Cecilia); great-grandchildren, Beau Crook, Tucker Gray, Gabby Gray, Katherine Gray, Solomon White, Wylie White, Kylin White, and Madeleine Hyndman. Ray was an accountant for several companies in Charleston, SC and Atlanta, GA. He had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and attended Newspring Church. He sang in church choirs, taught Sunday School, and participated in Salkehatchie Summer Service through the Methodist Church. He also loved his dog, Moses. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Sullivan King Mortuary, 2305 N. Highway 81, Anderson SC. www.SullivanKing.com
