Even though it has been a while, Ralph continues to be in my thoughts especially when I sing and when I hear a guitar player. Nobody was like Ralph. He was blessed with many gifts that he willingly shared with so many others. Still missing my friend from the Frisky Band. What good times we shared. Every time I visit Charleston I have to go by and say hello to his family because he not only shared his music with me, he shared his loving family with me also. And for that, I will be eternally grateful. I know he is rocking heaven with his music. Rock on my friend. Much love to you my friend

With a heavy heart I say goodbye to my dear friend Ralph. How I enjoyed singing with him in the Frisky Band. I grew to love Ralph and the Baxter family as they were so kind to me when I moved to Charleston. I am sorry that I can't be there for all of you at this time but I will see you all in October. May God the comforter give you all peace and I look forward to singing with Ralph again when we meet in that great music studio in Heaven.

Ralph was my friend and bandmate in The Counts in the 80's. He was a remarkable talent, and could play almost any instrument he picked up. His voice was wonderful, he had a terrific sense of humor, and I cherish the time I spent with him onstage. He will be missed.

I have cherished memories of Ralph walking me and my sister Frankie home from school. He was always (ALWAYS)talking about his trumpet, music or chuckling about things that made him hysterically laugh. His joy is now eternal; and in my heart I will now look towards Heaven for the melodic golden trumpet sound of Ralph. May your family find peace in knowing that God loves him best. I am sorry for your lost. I played in Rivers High band with Ralph, I'm sorry I did not get a chance to see him since '73 when I graduated. We would sometimes sit by each other in band class since we both played trumpet. He would sometime walk my sister and I home. He was always a lot of fun and very nice. I will keep your family in prays.
