Awwwwww, precious Phyllis is a LIGHT.
Maier spotted her, and he was beautifully blinded by that sweet light. Such a perfectly cool, intricately complex bundle of love. Which begat so much more love.
She is not gone. She is still with us. And Lord willing, we will see her again.
Sending so much love to her whole amazing family.... we sure do love you. xoxo Rusty & Lisa

Dear Eli, Aaron, Josh & Jolie:
I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I have such fond memories of her - along with your father OB'M - growing up with y'all in Charleston. One need only look at each of your beautiful families and all that you have contributed to your respective communities to understand what special role models and parents they both were. May her memory be a blessing to you and your children and grandchildren for many generations to come. Fondly,
Tippy Stern Brickman

My siblings and I were very sad to hear of the passing of cousin Phyllis. The photo of her is exactly how I remember her - always smiling, ever beautiful, and as loving as a person could be. I hope you will take solace in how much she cherished her family. Our condolences and sending all of you our love.

As in all loss's death is so final, but the legacy of your Mom will continue to grow. It's as in everything we do in life we're first born, and develop our personalities as our cornerstone. Your Mom, was one of the first people who I met when I moved here. I adored her from the moment we first introduced ourselves to each other, she so much reminded me of my Mom, who I had lost only a few years before moving to Charleston. I know now where you and your siblings, get their kindness from, she radiated, so much joy and happiness that you all gave her.
Marcia, knew your Mom from the Medical side, as well on her personnel side, and always loved her spirit for life as she exhumed with, We both will miss her and are extremely sad for all of your loss's.

Dear Hyman family,
It was my distinct pleasure to meet Eli in college where I was then fortunate enough to meet Mrs. Hyman on a couple of occasions. It became very clear why Eli was, and remains, such a decent, grounded, caring person.
My family's thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
The Pearson family,
