Paula Alison McDonnell N. Charleston - Paula Alison Harper McDonnell, 56, of North Charleston, SC, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL. Paula was born February 10, 1960 in Charleston, SC, daughter of David Carroll Harper, Sr. and the late Violet Leo Scott Harper. She was an administrative assistant for a concrete manufacturing company and her hobbies included reading and gardening. She was a beloved daughter and a great loving mother to her two beautiful children. She will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her father; son, Philip Michael McDonnell, Jr. of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Megan Madercic and her husband Josh of Summerville, SC; grandchild, Carson Madercic-Hendrixson of Summerville, SC; sister, Kimberly Tracy Wilkins (Thomas E.) of North Charleston, SC; four nieces: Lauren Meyerhoff, Allison Meyerhoff, Jennifer Wilkins all of North Charleston, SC and Jennifer Harper of Moncks Corner, SC; two nephews, Joey Meyerhoff of Atlanta, GA and Alan Harper of Utah; brother, David Carroll Harper, Jr. (Julia) of Edisto, SC. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lynn Jeffery Harper and nephew, David Carroll Harper III.
