Patricia Masche Obituary

Patricia O. Masche MT. PLEASANT - Patricia O. Masche, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered into the Church Triumphant Sunday, July 31, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born on Friday, December 21, 1928 in Columbia, SC to the late Mrs. Mary Frances O'Brien and the late Mr. Robert Emmett O'Brien. Patty moved to Charleston at the age of 5 and called that home for the rest of her life. She married William "Billy" H. Masche, Jr. in October of 1951, and shortly after settled in Mt. Pleasant. Patty was a long time active member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Following Patty's devotion to God was her devotion to family. One of her greatest joys was found in celebrating family birthdays, holidays, and special occasions. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William "Billy" H. Masche, Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, SC; son, Robert Glen Masche (Nancy), of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter, Nancy Masche Flythe (Paul), of Burke, VA; four grandchildren, Ryan (Sarah) Masche, Trey (Daniela) Flythe, Kelley (Ben) Hindman and Tucker Flythe; three great grandchildren, Hudson, Lucy, and Ellison. She was predeceased by her brother, Frank V. Hitt. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 302 Hibben Street, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. A Funeral Service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church or Presbyterian Women at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 302 Hibben Street, Mt.
