I taught with Otis at Midlands Tec for many years. He was truly a very fine man and well respected by all of his colleagues, May he rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon him.

Dear "Miss" Clemiegene and Family,
So sorry to read of the death of Otis. I am a voice from the past from Hampton, SC. My mom and sister worked for Otis at B & G Department Store. He and I attended USC-Salkehatchie together in 1965-1967. In fact, he gave me rides home from Allendale to Hampton on many occasions.
"Miss" Clemiegene, you taught me Public School Music at Hampton Elementary School and gave me an appreciation for the many styles of music.
Otis was one of the finest men I knew. Both of you were great assets to Hampton County.
Due to current health problems, I will not be able to attend the memorial service for Otis on Saturday.
God Bless.
