Norma Knight Obituary

Norma Ruth Jones Knight MT. PLEASANT - Norma Ruth Jones Knight, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Moncks Corner, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at Hospice Center of Charleston. Mrs. Knight, "Nonie," was an accomplished artist, dancing instructor, and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of First Christian Church of Moncks Corner and devoted her life to serving Christ. She was predeceased by her husband B. W. Knight, Sr.; her sister Elise Pratt; and her brothers - F. J. Jones and Charles Jones. She is survived by her sons - B.W Knight, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl, of Savannah, GA: Danny Knight and his wife, Sue, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and Larry Knight and his wife, Beverly, of Summerville, SC; her grandchildren - Brad Knight and his wife, Melanie, of Richmond Hill, GA; Wendy Wilson and her husband, Sean, of Richmond Hill, GA; Suzy Pistey and her husband, Shawn, of Ladson, SC; Karen Warley of Mt. Pleasant; Jason Knight and his wife, Kim, of Charleston; Kelli Moxie and her husband, Tim, of Simpsonville, SC; Amanda Knight of Charleston; and great grandchildren - Devin and Ryan Knight of Richmond Hill, GA; and Addington Warley of Mt. Pleasant; sister - Louise Harper and her husband, Tom, of Isle of Palms, SC; brother - Nick Jones and his wife, Lillian, of Knoxville, TN; and eight nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at First Christian Church of Moncks Corner, Saturday afternoon, November 27, 2010, between the hour of 2 and 3 o'clock with her funeral service beginning at 3 o'clock, with interment immediately following in St. John's Baptist Church Cemetery in Pinopolis, SC, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner.
