Nina Sprinkle Obituary

Nina Beth Sprinkle N. Charleston - Nina Beth Sprinkle, known as Beth, 69, of North Charleston, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 with her husband, Clark, at her side. Beth was born to the late Bert Elias Hanson and Velma Marie Hanson on September 14, 1951 in Turlock, CA. Beth graduated from Lockhart High School, Texas, in 1969 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Art and a Master's Degree in Art Education. Beth married Clark Sprinkle in 1971, with whom she shared her life and love until she passed away. They celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary last December, 2020. Beth is survived by their two children; Matthew Sprinkle and Stephen Sprinkle and wife, Sarah. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Breanna Faith Sprinkle, Emma Grace Sprinkle and Dylan Emerson Sprinkle. She was predeceased by a brother; Paul Hanson. Teaching school was her passion and she pursued that profession for over 30 years. Most of her time teaching was spent in Summerville at Dorchester District 2, but she also taught in other states and Puerto Rico. She lived in numerous locations including overseas, when the Air Force reassigned her husband. She enjoyed the challenge of relocating with each move. She enjoyed traveling to numerous islands in the Caribbean, South America and Europe. Her favorite place to visit as an art teacher was the world's largest art museum, the Louvre in Paris, France. Beth was a beautiful wife, mother and educator and she will be missed by all. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 6 to 8 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 2 o'clock at the funeral home.
