I became good friends with Nate to my brother John, he was truly a gentle giant, he was there for me and my family during the passing of my mother, he came and sat with us when she was in the hospital, he supported us mentally and physically.
I am truly thankful that I had the good fortune to meet and become friends with Nate and Nate. Nate, if you can hear me, hold me a seat at the table and don´t go all in till get there. Goodbye for now my good friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you! When he would talk about his family his whole face would light up. He was a great man and had such an impact on so many lives. When our daughter was stationed at Charleston, he looked out for her like a dad would and treated us like we were family when we would visit. We were lucky to meet and get to know him. Prayers for comfort for his family!

Prayers for the entire family. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Nate. I was in the base protocol office from 2012-2020 and worked many flightline arrivals, events/visits and airshows with Nate. He was always so kind and his smile would brighten any room he entered. He is a wonderful person and Will be sorely missed. All the family is in my thoughts and prayers. Dale Ragland

BW, it really stuck with me the impact that you have with the young Airmen. Althought you were Active Duty retired, you had a level of connection and care for the Airmen under you that is uncommon. You dedicated time to make sure folks were recognized and made to feel cared for, something every leader can always be a little better at. We miss you brother.
