Mildred Virginia Brock Olive Branch, MS - Mildred "Virginia" Brock, 75, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, wife of Hoy Brock passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022. Her Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 11:00 am in Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel. Mrs. Brock was born September 4, 1946, in Charleston, SC, to the late Joseph Charles Rankin and Mildred Rebecca Wilkinson Rankin. She was a Baptist and a professional homemaker. She was a devoted wife to Hoy Brock for over 52 years and a loving and caring mother to their three children. Her family was her life. Survivors include three children: Sharon Brock, Kim Rentz (Alan) and Eric Brock (Allison); six grandchildren: Cody Rentz, Kelsey Osborn, Brock Rentz, Rebecca Rentz, Isabel Brock, and Gavin Brock; brother, Bruce Rankin (Cheryl); and numerous nieces and nephews. Those preceding her in death include parents, Joseph and Mildred Rankin; and sisters, Joann Plunkett and Patricia Freeman.
