Michael Scott Obituary

Michael Christopher Scott Summerville - Michael Christopher Scott, Sr., 62, unexpectedly passed way at home on March 2, 2020. The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd. at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Michael was born to Sam and Catherine Scott in Camden, NJ in 1957. He was an Army veteran and dedicated his working years to the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. Michael worked in the operating room as a registered nurse for 26 years until he retired in 2019. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Shanahan; former wife, Patricia Dever; sons, Michael Scott, Jr. (Jaimee), Brian Solari (Tiffany), Ryan Shanahan (Nell), Michael Shanahan (Courtney), and Kevin Shanahan; his beloved grandchildren; sisters, Marguerite Daisy Scott (Jerry Shine), Marina Bombard (Scott); a niece, 2 nephews, several aunts, and cousins. Michael is predeceased by daughters, Michelle and Samantha Scott.
