Michael Marchak Obituary

MARCHAK, Michael Michael Marchak, 88, widower of Aelise T. Marchak of Ridgeville, SC, died Thursday evening, January 20, 2005 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at the Cryptside, Dorchester Memory Gardens, Sunday afternoon, January 23, 2005 at 2 o'clock. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home, Summerville, SC this Saturday evening from 6 - 8 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Stallsville United Methodist Church, 255 Stallsville Loops, Summerville, SC 29485 or the Salvation Army, P.O. Drawer 22587. Charleston, SC 29413. Mr. Marchak was born on May 25, 1916 in Indiana Harrbor, IN, a son of the late Steven Marchak and Anna Marchak. He was a retired US Air Force Staff Sergeant, a Veteran of WW II and Korea, a member of the VFW, and a member of Stallsville United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Susan K. Henderson of Summerville; four granddaughters, Tera Yates, Erin Henderson, Dava Giuli, and Denise LaCrouse; and five great-grandchildren.
