Mr. Elmore is the widower of Mrs. Brenda Garrett Elmore; son of the late Ms. Martha Taylor and Mr. Ernest Elmore; father of Ms. Renee Garrett, Mr. Michael Elmore; step-father of Ms. Natanya Garrett; brother of Ms. Brenda Elmore, Ms. Phyillis Elmore, and Mr. Darryl Elmore; and the close friend of Mr. Michael Washington.
