Max Mackey Obituary

Max G. Mackey Summerville - Maxwell Graling "Max" Mackey, 27, of Summerville, SC, a mechanical assembler for KION, died Wednesday morning in Berkeley County. His funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday afternoon, July 25, 2015, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in the Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM this Friday. Max was born April 4, 1988, in Summerville, SC, a son of Ken G. Mackey and Debra Murdaugh Mackey. He was a graduate of St. John's Christian Academy and attended Trident Technical College. Max enjoyed "mud runs", collecting guns, and going to the gym. He also loved playing video games and doing "home improvement" projects. Surviving are, his wife, Leslie Faulk Mackey; his parents of Lebanon; two brothers, Pete Pye of Lebanon, and Keith Pye of Harleyville; his grandparents, Ruby Murdaugh of Lebanon, and Burl Mackey of Baxter Springs, KS; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
