She was the beloved mother of Mr. Frank Mitchell, Jr.; grandmother of Ms. Mary Elizabeth Smith Mitchell; sister of Mrs. Hannah Blake (Joseph, Sr.) of Johns Island, SC, Mrs. Helen Burno (Blease) of Philadelphia, PA and Mr. Samuel Ancrum (Mae) of Nicholls, GA; sister-in-law of Mrs. Beulah Gibson of Ravenel, SC and Mrs. Ellaneda Ancrum of Miami. FL. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Vailes and those of her beloved son, granddaughter, sisters, brother, sisters-in-law, The Ancrum Family, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends are invited to attend her Home-Going Service on Saturday, May 24, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew AME Church, 4345 Davison Road, Ravenel, SC.
