Mary Speights EASLEY, SC - Mary Francis Murray Speights 79, of 113 River Oaks Cr., Easley, SC. Widow of Samuel J. Speights, Sr. died Friday, September 2, 2011, at Greenville Memorial Hosptial. Born in Charleston, SC. she was a daughter of the late John O.M. and Ruth Francis Hedrick Murray. She graduated from St. Andrews Parish High School in May 1959 and was married to Samuel Johnson Speights on January 31, 1951. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, receiving her Bachelor of Arts dergee frp Baptist College at Charleston in May, 1973. She was retired school teacher. Surviving are two sons, Samuel Johnson Speights, Jr., of Sun Priairie, WI, and David Speights of Phuket, Thailand; two brothers, one sister, and eleven grandchildren. She wwsa predeceased by a son, Michael Spieghts. Private graveside service was on Saturday, September 3, 2011 and Memorial Service was held at Community Bible Church, Easley, SC on Monday, September 5, 2011.
