Mary Bruch Obituary

BRUCH, Mary Jane Mary Jane Bruch of Folly Beach, SC, passed away peacefully in her sleep the evening of January 24, 2009. This beautiful person, known to many as simply "MJ," was well known and loved throughout the Folly Beach community. Through the years she worked at Bert's Market, Folly and East Bay Crab Shack and Planet Follywood. She was a very special person that participated in many community functions. She was a blessing to all that knew her. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service that will be held on Folly Beach Pier at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2009. The service will be followed by a Celebration of Life gathering between Planet Follywood and the Crab Shack on Folly Beach. Mary Jane was born on December 6, 1942, in Denver, Colorado. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Tracy Rees and their son, Robbie of San Antonio, Texas, and her other son, Keith Rees and his two children, Markie and Pamela, also of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Ramona Peavy of Charleston, SC, and her brother, Kevin Bruch also of Charleston. She is also survived by all those friends on Folly Beach that she called Family.
