PRESSLEY, Martha The funeral services for Martha Carolyn Foster Pressley, 77, of 1308 Calamus Rd., Summerville, SC, will be held 12 noon, Saturday, November 17, 2007, at Greater St. James AME Church. Wake will be Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, 8 p.m. at Greater St. James AME Church. Rev. Eddie Gaston, Jr., will officiate. Burial in church cemetery. Arrangements by EUTAWVILLE COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME. Mrs. Margaret Carolyn Foster Pressley was born August 12, 1930, in Charleston, SC, to the late Joseph and Rosa B. Foster. She was educated in the public schools of Charleston County. At an early age she joined St. Luke AME Church and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. On December 9, 1948, she was united into holy wedlock to Floyd Pressley, unto this union they were blessed with two daughters. Upon her marriage she joined Greater St. James AME Church and served faithfully. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Carolyn (Jimmie) Young of Capital Heights, Maryland and Vonda (Richard) Legree of Moncks Corner, SC, Sisters: Lubertha Bennett, Theola Foster, Leola (John) Dawson, all of Charleston, SC; twin sisters, Mary Elizabeth Hamilton of Harlem, NY, brother Franklin (Theresa) Foster of Philadelphia, step-children, Conroy Palmer, Terell Palmer, Roberta Palmer, Sheldon Palmer, Maxine Coaxum, Gregory Doiley, James Rose Doiley, Michael Pressley and Christal Cole, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
