Martha Kruger Obituary

Martha Glen Kruger COTTAGEVILLE, SC - Martha "Marty" Glen Kruger, 61, of Cottageville, entered into eternal rest May 7, 2021. Marty was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Mikell Glen of Edisto Island. She grew up on Russell Creek and attended Trinity Episcopal Church. She loved the creek and spent a lot of time shrimping and fishing. She loved children and the elderly and spent most of her time looking after local families. Marty was also predeceased by her daughter, Patti, and siblings, Mary Mizzell, Guy Glen and Timothy Glen as well the love of her life, husband, Larry Kruger. Marty is survived by her daughter, Heather McTeer Luckadoo of Edisto Island and grandchildren, Taylor McTeer Brown (Robby) Starke Fl., Dylan Luckadoo and Payton Luckadoo of Edisto. The highlight of her life was getting to know and love her great-granddaugter, Kenzie Brinley Brown and having had the opportunity to meet the newest great-granddaughter, Annie Lorraine Fryer just a few weeks ago. She was also survived by step-children, Jeff Kruger, Donnie Kruger (Melanie), Timothy Kruger, Tommy Kruger and Cheryl Kruger Demyan (Mark) all of Ohio and their grands and great-grands. Surviving siblings include Linda Leatherwood (Mike), Cecy Tallon, Mikell Glen (JoAnne), Jimmy Glen (Teresea) and Priscilla Vann (Tim) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Foccas (Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter) at 33 Poor Farm Rd., Walterboro, SC 29488, who lovingly took in her fur babies, Bella, Gohan and Sugar.
