Marshall Rollins Obituary

Marshall D. Rollins AIKEN, SC - Mr. Marshall D. Rollins, born on October 1, 1925 in Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on May 17, 2018. He worked for the state of South Carolina in numerous capacities with teens, until retiring in 1987. Marshall was married to Helen K. Rollins for just shy of 70 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Perrin M. Rollins. Marshall is survived by his son, Michael B. Rollins and wife Margaret; daughters, Connie Meaker and husband Ralph and Janet Beckwith; grandchildren, Melanie Moore and husband Jason, Brian Rollins and wife Lesley, Dr. Jonathan Rollins, Ellen Brown and husband John, Philip Meaker and wife Amy, Christopher Beckwith, and Andrew Beckwith; and great-grandchildren, Clara Moore, Benjamin Moore, Memphis Meaker, and Shepherd Meaker. He was a deacon and served his church, Citadel Square Baptist Church, in Charleston, in various other capacities and he was a volunteer at Roper Hospital for 20 years.
