Marion Albert Bulwinkle, Sr. Mount Pleasant - Marion Albert Bulwinkle, Sr., 89, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Monday, December 7, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 13, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 12, 2015 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Marion was born May 4, 1926 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Carson John Bulwinkle and the late Eunice Wren Bulwinkle Dutton. He served in the United States Navy and upon his release, he worked for the Charleston Naval Shipyard as an electrician. When the shipyard closed he worked for the City of Mt. Pleasant in tool maintenance. He was a Mason with Etiwan Lodge Mount Pleasant for 50 plus years. He is survived by son, Marion A. Bulwinkle, Jr. (Beth), of Richmond Hill, GA; three daughters, Sandra B. Causey (Bruce), of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Cheryl B. Garris (David) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Arlene B. Kelley (Mike) of Kingsland, GA; sixteen grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Carson John Bulwinkle, mother, Eunice Dutton, step father, Arthur Dutton, wife, Adele S. Bulwinkle, two daughters, Carla Travis and Toby Moore, and one brother, C.J. Bulwinkle.
