Grandma, I will never forget all the ways you were a wonderful grandmother. Family dinners on Sunday with rice a roni and peach cobbler, the stray cats you would let us bring inside and name when we came to visit, how you would scratch our backs for hours with your polished finger nails, corn cob dolls, and boiled peanuts, pepsi cola when everyone else drank coke, and hershey bars in the crisper drawer of the fridge....

Although I am sad that I can't be a kid all over again, and you can't be a young grandmother all over again, I am glad you are finally with Granddaddy. Y'all were separated for too long.

Love you forever, I pray you have a speedy trip to Heaven, and you'd better be there waiting for me when it's my turn.

Love, Barbara

May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of your loved one. Mrs. Marie was a lady worth knowing. I used to wait on her when she would come to take care of her banking with us. Always enjoyed our little visits. I know she will be missed by many.
