Margaret Jarrell Obituary

Margaret Jarrell HANAHAN - Margaret Gray Jarrell, 95, went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at TerraBella Assisted Living. Margaret was born in Canton, NC, and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Glesta Duvall Gray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carmen Jarrell of 65 years, who died in 2014. She also lost a brother, F.M. Gray, and 2 sisters, Carolyn Hill and Judy Banks. She is survived by her 3 sons, Perry Jarrell (Pat), Ricky Jarrell (Donna), and Rodney Jarrell; 4 grandchildren, Krista Clark (Adrian); Leslie Williams (Orinn); Brian Jarrell and Donald Jarrell; 5 great-grand children, Savannah and Christian Clark; Sean and Jordyn Williams; and Brittany Ward (Chris); 2 sisters, Virginia Connor (Wayne) and Phyllis Searcy (Bobby); 2 brothers, Burton Pressley (Betty Jo) and Roger Presley (Ruth); sister-in-law, Imogene Castle and brother-in-law, Roy Banks; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Special thanks to Sandy Hardy, Candy King, Roselyn Lee who were her primary caregivers and many family members and friends. A memorial service will be held with visitation at 1:00pm and service at 2:00pm on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Pittman Street Baptist Church.
