Margaret Marie Fleming Summerville - Margaret Marie Fleming, 93, of Summerville passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday afternoon, October 25, 2022 at 2 o'clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation an hour before the service. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Rd., Summerville, SC 29485. Flowers are accepted or memorials can be made in honor of Margaret to New Life Baptist Church, 141 Mallard Rd., Summerville, SC 29483. Margaret was born on May18, 1929 to the late James H. Hearn and Wilda D. MacKnight. For many years she was married to the love of her life, George M. Fleming. Margaret enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, flowers and working in her yard. Margaret is survived by her 3 daughters, Georgia M. Davis, Carol F. Mitchum, and Brenda Gayle Hoats (Woody) all of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Angela Luttrell, John Dicker (Kimberly), Francis Mitchum (Janis) Regina Driggers (Wally) and Marion Hoats III (Karen). Margaret also has eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Margaret was the second born of 13 brothers and sisters. She is predeceased by her husband, George M. Fleming; parents, James H. Hearn and Wilda D. MacKnight; and a grandchild, Daryl Mitchum as well as 6 of her siblings.
