I had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Rose when I got stationed at Charleston AFB, She was one of the kindest, caring and loving people I have known. She always had a smile and no matter the situation she was always positive. I am forever grateful for the time I called her a friend.

Auntie I light this candle, because you were truly a light in my life. I will always love you, and thanks for the good times we shared. You loved me and treated me as your own from the first day I came into the family. It was a pleasure cooking for you, your favorite Okra Soup!!!!! Love you, Auntie!!!! Vernon

It is now 4:50 A.M. Tuesday morning May 2nd 2017 as I am reflecting on how much my Aunt meant to me. My heart it aches, but I am not broken!!!! She, my Aunt was one of the individuals who molded me, allowing me to be the strong Black woman that I am. As I ponder over her picture and think of her, and how she empowered and enabled me from adolescence into adulthood. She was saved, she Loved her Lord and Savior Jesus, The Christ. We would praise him together, giving him the Adoration he so deserved and Thanking him for his Grace and Mercy. We together would talk about his favor, which is greater than anything that is monetary. I would always tell her not to worry about anything, God will put people in place to help you. And, I Thank God that I have Favor because my Aunt among others in this family assisted me through my storms of life. Ensuring that I stayed prayed up through all facets of life, the good, the bad and the ugly. I am Blessed to have been in both her and my Uncle's midst, they took care of me in so many ways. Most important, they gave me wisdom, the tools to carry me spiritually and emotionally. I listened and did as they told me and taught me, which made me the Victor and I am ever so Gracious. I can go on and on, writing a Bestseller. Auntie take your rest, you are now with The Lord and your Beloved "Bobby". I Love You!!!! Rhodee
