Marc Maynor Obituary

My thoughts and prayers go out to the wife, child, and family of Dr. Marc Maynor. At a time like this, may God be your guide, comfort, and strength.

My deepest sympathy goes to the family and friends of Marc. I knew him from graduate school at University of Kentucky. I will truly miss him. It was great knowing you, Marc, and will forever carry a piece of you throughout my life endeavors. ---Derrick

Marc was a colleague of mine in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Kentucky. He was truly a good person and stellar scientist. The world does and will continue to miss him. I pray for comfort and kindness for his family.

I was deeply sadden by the new of Marc's death. I have prayed for him many times through the years. I have never met Marc but I felt I knew so much about him throgh his mother-in-law. To Monica and Marc, II, I will continue to prey for each of you. May God continue to wrap is loving arms around you. God Bless the Maynor and Rawlinson Family. I am so sorry that the Maynor family and friends are experiencing this pain and grief but be comforted in the fact that God ways are not our ways and He is still in control. Marc accomplished more in his 30 years on earth than most accomplish in twice as many years. Marc’s contributions to the world will always be with us to help and inspire others.

Marc I will never forget you. You were amazing and we are all the better having know you. Until we meet again...

I only knew Marc in grad school at USC for a couple years. I will always remember how he always wore a smile. I am so sorry for your loss, but I am so glad that I got to meet such a great man.

I meet Marc in the Chemistry labs at the University of South Carolina. I was a undergraduate working in the same lab. He was such a wonderful gentleman. I will always remember the picture over his vent that said, "I am a Supersayn Chemist!"

I came to know Marc about four years ago as members of the Omicron Iota Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He is indeed a brilliant man of GOD and he will be missed by all.

To the family...Always remember that earth knows no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Maynor family. His accomplishments were many, but that which will be most remembered is that which he leaves behind. He did much in a short period of time, and we should all have thirst for life and education as he did.

God gave Marc the wisdom to reach for the stars as a young man not many have accomplished so much in such a short time.At 31 it seems as if Life has just begun but the Wisdom of God deemed it time enough for Marc. But his life's a testamony he sought the kingdom first and God blessed him with lifes greatest gifts. the love of a good wife, a child that brings such joy, a family to share the good and hard times, and a relationship with the Lord that would give him life eternal.Gone to soon? maybe but the time we shared with him will live on in our memories until we meet with him on the other side.

I was quite shocked to learn of the death of Marc.There is little which serves as comfort at times such as this, and though it may be difficult for those who are bereaved to absorb, but one can only find solace in the revelation; God does not make mistakes.
