TOPOREK, Louis Entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 11, 2005, Louis M. Toporek, widower of Bernice L. Toporek, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Charleston, SC. The funeral service will be Sunday morning, February 13, 2005 at the graveside, Emanu-El Cemetery, Maryville at ten o'clock.. ARRANGEMENTS BY J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Mr. Toporek was born July 3, 1913, in New York, New York, son of Morris Toporek and Esther Seidenworm Toporek. He graduated from the College of Charleston in 1934, and was a retired Jeweler and Clothier. He was a charter member of Synagogue Emanu-El and former President of the Jewish Community in Charleston, SC. Surviving are two daughters, Sue Toporek Mueller of Tampa, FL and Myra Toporek Sparkman of Bradenton, FL, and one son, Alan D. Toporek of Mt. Pleasant, SC seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Synagogue Emanu-El, 5 Windsor Drive, Charleston, SC 29407.
