Loretta Schaffer Obituary

You have my deepest Sympathy. It was an honor to take care of Mrs. Schaffer since last March. We had alot to talk about and share as we both are from New York. She always showed appreciation for my care and I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

I remember visiting a Goose Creek grocery store years ago and while standing in the checkout line I heard someone call my name out loud "Hey Danny!". I knew immediately from the deep New York accent who it was. It was the same friendly voice I heard every day living next door to the Schaffers and my friend Marc. Mrs. Schaffer was always good to me and any time I hear someone with a New York accent I think of her. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
