Lillian Linder Obituary

Lillian L. Linder Summerville - Lillian L. Linder, 72, of Summerville, SC, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Lillian was born April 10, 1946 to the late James Marshall Little, Sr. and the late Helen Kathleen McEachern Little. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carol Little Morrison and husband, Wade, and her brother, James Marshall Little, Jr. Lillian was born and raised in Midland, NC. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the Baptist College in Charleston, SC. After over 30 years of teaching elementary and middle school, she retired from Dorchester District 2 Schools. Lillian was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church for over 45 years with her husband Jerry. She loved her church and church family and served on numerous committees and was the choir director for many years. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Roger Jerroll "Jerry" Linder; daughter, Kimberly Joy Steelmon and husband Joel; son, Roger Jay Linder and wife Stefanie and many nieces and nephews that she loved. The family wishes to thank Trident Regional Medical Center's doctors and nurses for their compassion and care. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 6 - 8 pm at New Hope United Methodist Church, 1253 Jedburg Road, Summerville, SC. The funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at New Hope United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Hope United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
