Words cannot express the sadness in my heart. Since the day I checked onboard USS IWO JIMA, Lee has looked out for me. He was a mentor and my brother. Throughout my tour onboard the ship, I knew that I could always count on him for advice or a good laugh when I was feeling down. Even if I didn’t want to laugh, he would pick at me until I would! He will be greatly missed. May God continue to keep you, the Lee family, in his graces as I will keep you in my prayers.

To the family of CSCS Allen, I send my deepest condolences to you all. Senior Allen was a joy to be around rather it was yelling his name out when he came through the messdecks or giving him high five in the passageway, he always had a smile on his face. I am going to miss him. May God Bless and keep you all (The Allen Family) in his care.
With deepest sympathies,
